Stop the Violence
“Stop the Violence”
We must all strive to be the best people we can be. This means don’t complain, don’t criticize, don’t proselytize and don’t control.
And don’t ever give up, because then you never have a chance to win! Never stop trying, but more importantly, never stop doing! It is with that level of focus and concentration, that you will be physically, psychologically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually ready for anything that comes your way, with all your heart and all your might! When you work from the heart, my friend, that’s when you’re there. When you realize that it’s all about the heart, then and only then, will you be at the top of it all.
Remember! Praise. Forgive. Compliment. Allow. And most importantly, Inspire.
Forgive. Stop the grudges and holding on to hate in your heart. Whatever it was, it’s not worth it. All you get is angina and tight muscles. Grudges don’t allow your heart to expand and it doesn’t allow you to let God within you. That’s right, it doesn’t allow you to feel the perfection that God has within you. Think about it. If your muscles are tight, nothing is getting in. But when your muscles loosen up? BAM! You can move mountains. Trust me. You can do anything.
Compliment. Compliment everyone! When you’re having an emotional outburst with someone you care about, compliment instead of argue. Try it. Just say one thing that’s a compliment. Anything. It’ll change the whole argument, making it more layered from the heart instead of lacing it with anger from the head.
Allow. Allow your friends, your kids, your parents, your relatives and everyone that crosses your path to express themselves. Self-expression is incredibly important and so this must be top priority. Allow people to express themselves, but only as long as they aren’t hurting anybody, including themselves. That’s a big difference.
Inspire. You know what happens? You become Inspire. You don’t become an inspirer. You become Inspire. And you know what that means? You can’t even put it into words. It is a miraculous state of being that you’ll know when you feel it.
Now using these 4 Truths, let’s figure something out about the violence in this country. Let’s figure something out because if we don’t, we will continue to be in harm’s way. Let’s put the guns away, let’s put the drugs away and let’s put the alcohol away. Why don’t we try that? No guns, no alcohol and no drugs. Just smiles. Smiles for strangers, for your friends, for your family, for the homeless people, for all people near and far, and please, smiles for Gar.
Take a chance! Be bold with your life and what changes you want to see in this world. Stop watching the TV, stop drinking the beer, stop doing the drugs — try it, for just one day? Stop complaining about your friends and your relatives and your neighbors, backbiting everybody that you know, solely because you’re not feeling good about yourself. We all have moments where we are blue, but my advice is to fake it ‘til you make it! Pull yourself out anyway that you can!
So turn to that somebody that you’ve been openly criticizing. Do a warm, shout out instead. Say, “I love you, I love you!” Every morning when you wake up, try declaring, “I love you!” Look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I love you!” Spread that love with joy and happiness filling you up inside! Eventually, love will win it all! You can’t beat love. It’s the strongest power in the universe. Nobody can beat love. Not even the Devil himself!
So we can do it together. We do it together. We can defeat this evil, this devil of violence and depression, together. All this garbage that’s going on in the world, the killings, the shootings, the endless violence — we can stop it together! We must end it. And the only way we’re going to end it is through love. We can achieve this through one charitable act at a time, taking it day by day. We don’t have much time, so let’s start now. Today is the day. It’s a great day. The day is ours!
Peace, Grace, Love and Namasgar,
