“Challenge Yourself And Break Those Chains”

What does a man do on his birthday after breaking the chains of torment? A man who is finally free, at long last, from the suffering of over 30 years of manic-depressive disorder? Why of course!

He goes out and competes in “The Tough Mudder” in the Mojave Desert, for just over 5 hours, in an extreme hill- climbing, obstacle course with over one thousand twenty-somethings more than half his age! He completes every obstacle and finishes in record time with his newly “adopted” family, Marisol and Jorge! It was a blast, guys — I can’t wait for next competition!

I guess I still do have “a touch of mania,” but the only difference is that finally, for the first time, I am in the present! I’m not longer dwelling on the past, on the “coulda, woulda, shoulda” or self-victimizing myself. Instead, I am now ALIVE and living it in a natural, drug-free, alcohol-free, healthy and holistic way!

And it’s my hope that this post of mine about renewal, in some way, helps make your day a little better than yesterday!

Please spend another two more minutes with me and take a listen to this beautiful song about life. If performed well enough, it takes no detours and heads straight to your heart from mine: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbCBJ05gdwc
